Ways to give to the Meetinghouse Restoration Project

Cash contributions are certainly the easiest way to give. We also suggest that you consider pledged installments. This would be a fixed amount given each year until your pledge was fulfilled. For example: for a pledge of $1000 you might give $200 per year for 5 years or $2000 per year for 5 years equals a gift of $10,000. Any gift denomination can be planned for the convenience or your personal ability to donate to the project.

Stocks, mutual funds or bonds are tax deductible for their full value at time of gifting and there is no capital gains tax. Most donors find it more advantageous tax wise to gift by this method.
Insurance policies are welcome as paid policies or as policies wherein the premium payments are provided over the term of the insurance. This gives the project a long range plan and is convenient for those gifting by this method.

Property or tangible goods valued over $5,000 require an appraisal and may have tax deductibility limits. We would be happy to discuss this way of gifting, so please call.
Planned gifts allow your contribution to have a long-term impact and could include trusts, retirement funds, charitable annuities and other estate planning methods. We have knowledgeable assistance available should you choose this method of gifting.

Bequests may be the ultimate gift and although they cannot be counted until realized may be an important component in planning for future stewardship of the building. Those who choose to gift by bequest will be recognized as a donor and notification to the Project should be may if you choose this method.

Donor contributions have carried this Project to its current success. Together, we are securing the presence of the Meetinghouse for future generations. Please contact us to discuss any of the ways of giving described here.
