On-line Order FAQ.

This FAQ is for those who are unfamiliar with our online donation system. While it is as simple as we can make it, there are often still questions asked.

Overall Questions:

1. What methods of payment can I use?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and Paypal.

2. How do I know this is a secure transaction?

AMRP accepts our donations through PayPal. We trust that PayPal has one of the most secure online transaction systems.

3. Why did you decide to use PayPal?

PayPal is one of the most trusted names on the web. They also charge very, very minimally for the services they provide us. That means that nearly 100% of your credit card donation is going directly to help AMRP.

4. What if I do not feel comfortable donating online?

AMRP respects that not everyone has the utmost trust for the web. That is why we have given a mailing address, located on the Donate page. However, the Acworth Meetinghouse Restoration Project has done everything in its power to make online donations not only easy, but safe as well.

 

PayPal Donation Process Questions:

1. Why is there a "Quantity" number on the first page?

While PayPal has setup this low cost donation option for its users, it still functions a little like an e-commerce process. Leave the Quantity at 1 so your credit card will only be charged once.

2. Why is the "Price" blank?

AMRP did not want to setup any mandatory donation rates. So this is the spot where you type in the amount you would like to donate. Any size donation will help in one way or another.

3. Why is it asking for my Email and Password?

This is for people with a PayPal account. You do not need one to donate. Simply continue a little further down the page to where it says "Use your credit card or bank account" and click "Continue."

4. Why am I asked for my "Contact Information?"

This will only be used by PayPal if there was some sort of problem (ie. card declined, etc.) You can read PayPal's official privacy policy by clicking "Privacy," located next to "Home Telephone."

5. Why am I asked for a Shipping Address for a donation?

AMRP has asked for your Shipping Address so we can send you an official receipt for your donation.

6. What if I have a question that wasn't addressed here?

If we or PayPal have failed to answer your questions, please write to admin@acworthmeetinghouse.org and someone will get back to you as soon as possible.
